Senator Min’s Statement Regarding the Firefighters Critically Injured in 241 Freeway Collision

(IRVINE, CA) – California State Senator Dave Min (D-Irvine), who represents the 37th Senate District in the heart of Orange County, issued the following statement in response to news of an accident involving an Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) response unit that has resulted in at least four firefighters being treated for critical injuries.

“My thoughts are with the injured OCFA firefighters and their families, and my staff and I stand ready to provide any assistance we can. This accident is a stark reminder of the dangers to life and limb that our heroic first responders face every day as they try to put out the Airport Fire and other wildfires in the region on a regular basis.  Thank you to our firefighters and other public safety personnel for their courage and sacrifice. I pray for a quick and full recovery.”
