Senator Dave Min's Statement on the Orange County Power Authority's Vote to Terminate C.E.O.

(SACRAMENTO, CA) — Today, Senator Dave Min (D-Irvine) issued the following statement in response to the Orange County Power Authority’s decision to terminate CEO Brian Probolsky. The dismissal comes after Senator Min penned letters to Irvine and Huntington Beach seeking information related to their potential financial exposures to the OCPA.

“With new leadership, the OC Power Authority can now finally focus on putting ratepayers first,” said Senator Dave Min. “While we are still a long way from fully restoring public trust, this was the right choice by the Board of Directors and a step toward greater accountability. While I am hopeful OCPA can now operate with integrity, I will continue to monitor the fiscal impacts this transition poses.”
